There is no limit on what you can place on your personal website. You can add photos, texts, videos and more! You can add a blog to communicate with your friends and family.
What should I not put on my personal website?
Since the website is on the web, anyone could find it so you should not put anything on it of a persoanl identity nature as there are scammers, who are probably not your friend.
Can some or all of the photos be mine?
Yes, some or all of the photos can be yours. Some of them may need to be reduced to load faster. It is really up to you since it is your website and you have a large say in the content and layout.
What else do I get besides a web site and maybe a blog?
A personal email address that is for your business or personal use (actually a number of them if you wish). A bio page, an about page, a contact page or any kind of page you would like maybe a photo spread.
How expensive is a personal web page?
It is less than you think. The whole thing could be under $100.00 for the domain name and the hosting for a year for the basics, which is what most folks would need. Then the cost of constructing the website if you select 3 pages is probably less than $300.00.
